So I think I am pretty much heading up the baby shower project for the KVN. Although, I just got an e-mail from Susan saying her church will supply enough gifts for all the ladies to have the smaller things they need. I don't know about the larger items. I guess I will be going to places like Babies 'R Us to see if they can make any large donations. It may seem negative, but I don't see these places giving us a crib, a glider, and a travel system for free. We still have 4 ladies who haven't even called back with their lists yet. Man, I will keep busy won't I? I didn't volunteer for this. But, I will do it because I can only imagine what those girls feel like. The more parties and presents, the better!
William called me last night. He was on someone's cell and kept cutting out. I talked to a Mom trying to get a wife yesterday. We talked about going to Cali. Well, the Mom told the wife who told the husband who told William. LOL. He seemed excited that I was coming. He doesn't want Mom to come though. But she knows we will want time together. He is going to give her his ticket to the Brooks -n- Dunn concert and we are going to stay in at the hotel.
OK, I just sent the list I have now for the baby shower out. I picked a cute font and made it very big. I went through, highlighting one letter at a time to make it pink and blue, and I get an e-mail back telling me to pick a different color and font. So I picked a huge ugly font and did it in black. I swear, that was aggravating. I know, I am a dork, LOL.
