I forgot to mention this stuff I think. There is a lady who owns a sign making company who is making all of our car magnets for free. I upped my order to 10 with his name and rank, and 1 that says Proud USMC Wife. Some people had orders for 30 or more, so I wasn't selfish. And we are getting our shirts made for free. Maybe I did put this in yesterday, LOL.
Well, I talked to William more last night. I told him I was really wanting to come and see him. He said not to waste the money, to get a new washer and dryer. But his Mom told me today he DOES NOT WANT ME TO COME. He supposedly told her he doesn't want to do the goodbye's all over again. But to me that sounds like her talking. She goes on and on about how he sounds so tired and so depressed. He was fine to me. Excited even. Sure he was getting tired because it was the end of the day and he has been working hard, but he was FINE!
Yesterday we heard one guy was coming back becasue of a problem with his ankle. I asked William why he hadn't blown his knee out again yet? LOL. Then I got an e-mail from Vicki, the Lt Col's wife, and there are 7 guys coming back. I admit I am jealous and angry. But those guys are going to feel so guilty and angry for having to leave their guys behind.
I have started my e-mails for the Christmas in October. One lady said prepackaged cocoa and cider mixes weren't as good as homemade. Well nothing is as good as homemade, but we don't have any money. I am so afraid!!! Where are we going to get this stuff? Can we possibly get enough businesses to donate stuff? There are 250 guys. William said they will want stuff like undershirts and thick socks...that isn't cheap. And you have to wonder about sizes too. I guess we could just get a variety. Maybe we can come up with a fund raiser and maybe get ABC 33/40 to advertise it for us. They have adopted us. Wow, there is a lot to do! ANY ADVICE?!?!?!
OK, off to see what I can do. I think I will e-mail everyone and see what they think we can do. I am starting to feel a little crazy, LOL.
